THE FUNNY GUYS

About

Nick the Noise and Frankie Rooster

The Funny Guys:

Nick the Noise and Frankie Rooster are back together again to unleash their unique brand of comedy mayhem on audiences from coast to coast. Nick and Frankie started their performing careers in the early 1980's, having served their apprenticeships in pubs, clubs, corporate events, mining camps, along with an exhaustive array of private functions, from weddings, birthday parties and bush bashes to television appearances on The Midday Show with Ray Martin, Hey Hey, It’s Saturday and many Telethons. The duo first came together by accident when sharing the bill at the Oz Outback Theatre Restaurant where they developed several segments they could perform as a duo. They quickly realised that they enjoyed the collision of their unique talents onstage, and decided to continue as Nick the Noise and Frankie Rooster whenever the opportunity rose.

The duo rapidly gained the respect of booking agents for their ability to perform squeaky clean shows for corporate clients, while, at the same time, having the ability to perform in front of rowdy sporting clubs and mining camps, with their alcohol fuelled wet messes, to deliver the kind of bawdy comedy punters were eager to lap up. At any level, Nick and Frankie have always had the capacity to deliver tailor made segments to suit client needs, with these segments often becoming the highlight of the evening.

With their original songs, sketches, and stand-up, Nick and Frankie are able to deliver shows ranging from 45 minutes to 3 hours. Back together again, and having lost none of their onstage appeal, they are eager to infuse even more comedy experience into their shows. This is sure to become the kind of reunion that will have booking agents and clients breathing a sigh of relief, safe in the knowledge that their function is in the hands of two professionals who understand what it takes to bring comedic entertainment to the specific requirements of an audience.
